The Butler Volleyball team falls in straight sets in the NJCAA District semi final to Neosho 24-26, 18-25, 17-25. The Grizzlies briefly led in the first and second sets but were unable to hold off the Panthers.
Payton White led the offense with 11 kills hitting .286 with 3 blocks. Kailan Kuzmic had 9 kills, hitting .438, 16 assists and 12 digs. Defensively Jessica Schwatz had a team high 13 digs and Mary Kangas also had 16 assists and 11 digs.
The Grizzlies finish the season with an overall record of 30-9, which is the second season in a row and third season under coach Rick Younger that Butler has posted 30 wins.
