Before Butler: A four-year member of the Wichita Trinity Knights under head coach Tom Nykamp... was an All 4-1A Region second-team offensive selection her senior year... helped Trinity Academy to a state runner-up finish her junior year... played club for EFC Kansas Rush under coach Dean Matacchiera.

Coach Hunter: “Alex is one of only a couple of true left-footed player in our program. This already gives her an advantage due to the rules of supply and demand. I watched her roam up and down the left flank at Trinity for the past several years and now she will do it as a Grizzly.”
