HAYS, Kan. – The 2024-25 Butler women's basketball season has come to a close in the Region 6 Semifinals. Four-seed Butler (23-8) lost 67-58 to the one-seed Dodge City Conquistadors (28-4) on Friday afternoon at Fort Hays State's Gross Memorial Coliseum. Butler never led in the game and trailed by as much as 19 late in the fourth quarter. The Grizzlies shot just 29.7% (19-64) from the field while holding the Conqs to 39.3% (24-61) shooting. The Conqs outscored Butler in the paint 28-14.

CONCORDIA, Kan. – Butler women's basketball picked up a 76-57 road win over Cloud County at Arley Bryant Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The win for the Grizzlies (22-6, 17-6 KJCCC) means they can finish no lower than fourth place in the Jayhawk Conference which locks up a first-round bye in the upcoming Region 6 Tournament. Butler trailed 32-31 at halftime but outscored the T-Birds (16-12, 11-12) 45-25 in the second half including 25-10 in the fourth quarter as they turned the jets on to secure the win. It marks the Grizzlies 14th straight win over the T-Birds.

COFFEYVILLE, Kan. – Butler women's basketball defeated the 16th ranked Coffeyville 56-52 at Nellis Hall on Thursday. The Grizzlies swept the regular season from the Red Ravens for the first time since the 2019-20 season with the win. Lucia Lara led the team with 13 points and 12 rebounds while Kenzie Galliart poured in 16 points.

EL DORADO, Kan. – Destiny Smith turned in a career performance helping Butler to a 106-55 win over Independence on Saturday at the Power Plant. Smith had an improbable first half, shooting 9-10 from three-point range with 31 first half points. The Derby native finished with a career-high 36 points shooting 10-12 from distance also adding five rebounds and three assists. Butler (19-5, 14-5 KJCCC) completed the regular season sweep of the Pirates (2-23, 1-18) as the Grizzlies win preceded the 2025 Butler Athletics Hall of Fame Induction ceremony.

PRATT, Kan. – The Butler Community College women's basketball team handed the Pratt Beavers a 95-43 loss on Saturday afternoon at Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The Grizzlies move to 14-4, 9-4 while Pratt is now 6-13, 1-12. Butler's freshman guard Ashley Singhateh (4) finished with a season-high 27 points while freshman forward Kenzie Galliart tallied season-high in points (23) and rebounds (21).

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. – Butler women's basketball defeated the Cowley Tigers 65-56 at William S. Scott Gym on Saturday afternoon for their second straight win in KJCCC play. Freshmen Kenzie Galliart and Keegan Yarick combined for 27 points and the Grizzlies outrebounded the Tigers 45-30.
