The National Fastpitch Coaches Association released it's annual NJCAA Division I All-Region Teams on Monday afternoon.
McPherson, Kan. native Addison Chapman earned First Team All-West Region honors, the third consecutive season that the Grizzlies have had a player make it on the exclusive list. Claire Lopez earned the honor in both 2024 & 2025, while Ellie Randall earned the honor in 2025 as well.
Chapman was an all-around player this season for the Grizzlies but earned First Team honors as a pitcher. Chapman finished her freshman campaign with a 2.75 ERA and was 16-5 in the circle. Chapman threw 132.1 innings in 32 appearances and 25 starts and had 152 strikeouts. Chapman's 152 strikeouts places her tied for 12th place for the most strikeouts in a single season in program history (tied with Allyson Montgomery, 2022). Chapman led the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference in strikeouts, was second in wins, and was fourth in ERA.
Chapman also earned the KJCCC Freshman and Pitcher of the Year last week to round out her impressive honors in her first year in El Dorado.
