Ewing Named KJCCC Pitcher of the Week
Ewing Becomes First Grizzly of 2025 to Pick Up Conference Honor
Butler softball sophomore pitcher Addy Ewing was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Ewing, a second year pitcher from Owasso, Okla., had a big week for Butler. She made four appearances for the Grizzlies during the week and picked up two wins and one save. Throwing 15.2 innings with a 1.34 ERA on the week, Ewing struck out six while helping Butler go 3-1, which included a doubleheader split with KJCCC leading Hutchinson Community College. Ewing's longest appearance of the week was in game two of a road doubleheader at Colby, as the game went to 11 innings and Ewing threw the final 6.0 innings while allowing no earned runs and striking out three as Butler snuck out with the win to push Ewing's record to 5-1 this season.

She becomes the first Grizzly softball player this season to earn a weekly honor from the conference.
