Jerod Elcock named Jayhawk Track Athlete of the Week
For the second time this season, a Butler track and field athlete has been selected as the KJCCC Track Athlete of the Week. This week Jerod Elcock of the men's team has been named Jayhawk Conference Track Athlete of the Week.
Jerod Elcock, sophomore from Trinidad had a great weekend at the John Jacobs Invitational hosted by the University of Oklahoma. Elcock came in second in the 200m dash running a time of 20.54 which ranks him third in the NJCAA in that event. He also ran the third leg on the 4x100 meter relay which posted a time of 39.61 which ranks first in the NJCAA and helped Butler win that event at the John Jacobs Invitational.
