Bio

Megan Fabrizius is in her first year with the Butler athletic training staff. She joins the staff after earning her Master of Athletic Training degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in May.

Fabrizius previously served as a paid intern for the Round Rock Express, the Texas Rangers MiLB Triple-A affiliate in Round Rock, Texas. In that position she aided the Head Athletic Trainer in daily evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries in addition to general maintenance for performance with the athletes.

She began working with the Express in 2024 and has also been part of a clinical rotation with the team while completing requirements for her masters, assessing the biomechanics of hitting/pitching stances to reduce the risk of injury and re-injury.

Other experience for Fabrizius includes a MAT (Master of Athletic Training) clinical rotation in 2025 at Orthopedic Spine and Sports Physical Therapy in Moore, Okla., where she rehabilitated a variety of patient populations and monitored progress through rehabilitation protocols. She also spent time at Westmoore High School, Edmond Memorial High School and Oklahoma City University in rotations as an athletic trainer.

Fabrizius earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Rehabilitation Sciences from Kansas State University in 2023. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
