Grizzly Teams & Student-Athletes Earn NJCAA All-Academic Honors
Butler Community College Saw 59 Student-Athletes Named NJCAA All-Academic
El Dorado, Kan. – The National Junior College Athletic Association announced its 2024-2025 NJCAA All-Academic Award winners and Butler saw a host of student-athletes land honors.
Each year, the NJCAA recognizes student-athletes and teams for their dedication in the classroom on the NJCAA All-Academic Teams. To receive the honor, student-athletes must achieve at least a 3.6 GPA. First team honors go to student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA, second team honors to student-athletes with a 3.8-3.99 GPA, and third team honors to student-athletes with a 3.6-3.79 GPA. Individual teams had to earn at least a 3.0 GPA or higher to be recognized.
Butler had a total of 59 student-athletes earn NJCAA All-Academic honors and 9 Grizzly teams also earned the honor of All-Academic. The following teams earned recognition: baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's cross country, women's cross country, women's track & field, women's soccer, softball, and volleyball.
There were a total of 13,915 student-athletes and 1,347 teams that received NJCAA All-Academic honors.
