Host of Grizzlies Earn KJCCC All-Academic Honors

Butler Community College Saw 93 Student-Athletes Named KJCCC All-Academic

COLBY, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference announced its 2024-2025 KJCCC All-Academic Award winners and Butler saw a host of student-athletes land honors, finishing the academic year with at least a 3.5 overall GPA.

Butler had 93 student-athletes named to the All-Academic team. Every program at Butler was represented with at least one student-athlete.

The athletic department GPA for the Grizzlies during the 2024-25 year was a 3.18 with 10 of Butler's 13 sports finishing with a 3.0 GPA or higher. The Butler softball team led the way finishing with a 3.558 team GPA, followed by women's cross country at 3.550 and women's track and field at 3.547. Other sports that finished with a 3.3 GPA or above are baseball, women's basketball and volleyball.

The Grizzlies 3.18 GPA ranked eighth out of 21 member schools in the league. The Butler women's track and field squad (indoor and outdoor) led the conference (15 competing schools) with a 3.547 GPA. Butler football also paced the KJCCC (seven schools) with a 2.949 GPA.
