Addison Chapman & Kamohelo Ramatsebe

Butler softball player Addison Chapman and men's track and field student athlete Kamohelo Ramatsebe have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of April 26th through May 2nd, 2026.

Addison Chapman (Softball)

Butler freshman Addison Chapman has been a force in the circle and at the plate all season long for the Grizzlies. Chapman started two games in the circle last week, and in those two games Chapman allowed just one run combined, allowed just three hits, and struck out an unbelievable 26 batters across 12 total innings thrown. Chapman also delivered four total hits and three RBI at the plate for the Grizzlies. 

Kamohelo Ramatsebe (Men's Track & Field)

The Butler Grizzlies track & field teams competed in the Region 6 Championships down in Arkansas City, Kansas over the weekend. Grizzly sophomore Kamohelo Ramatsebe had an incredible performance, earning the Men's High Point Athlete of the Meet. Ramatsebe won the men's 1500 meter run, finishing with a time of 3:54.13, as well as winning the men's 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 8:51.74, besting the second place finisher by nearly 14 seconds. To cap it all off, Ramatsebe was also a member of the first place finishing 4x800 meter relay team.
