Spring 2014 (TBA)
Butler Soccer Camps offers a one day Spring Break Camp in the month of March, during the week of spring break. This camp is designed to give players the opportunity to have a very personable experience with the Butler Soccer coaching staff during a time of the year when many players are out of school and wanting to get a little soccer in. This has traditionally been one of our smaller camps and the player to coach ratio is very favorable for those attending.
Summer 2014 (TBA)
Butler Soccer Camps offers three on-campus camps during the summer months. We have traditionally offered two sessions of Youth Camps for Grades K-4, one at the very beginning of the summer vacation (late May/early June) and the second at the close of summer (early August). This camp is designed to cover the basic technical skills of the game (dribbing, passing, shooting, heading, defending) for the younger player.
We also offer a Middle School Girls for Grades 5-8 that is geared for the competitive female player that has not reached the high school age. This camp covers basic technical skills and tactical decisions made in the game.
Butler Soccer Camps also offers its College ID Camp for the serious, female, high school player that aspires to play collegiate soccer. This camp is the only of its kind in the Wichita Metro and will be offered during the month of June. Under the direction of Head Coach Adam Hunter the camp is designed to allow players showcase their talents to a number of the most respected college soccer programs in the region. This camp promises that players will have the opportunity to work directly with coaches from the NCAA DI, II, NAIA, and Junior College levels. The goal of the camp is to allow for players and attending college coaches to identify one another and begin the recruiting process. College coaches that ran training sessions in 2013 included: Butler Community College, University of Kansas, Missouri State University, Newman University, Washburn University, Emporia State University, Ft Hays State University, and Kansas Wesleyan University.
