Amalie Rupertova, sophomore outside hitter, hit an impressive .315 for the week and averaged 3.25 kills per set helping the Grizzlies to a 3-2 week and the Grizzlies first KJCCC 'Player of the Week' honors of the season.
Rupertova had two double-doubles during the week, going for 15 kills and 20 digs in a four-set vitcory over Northeast Community College on Friday and then had an 11 kill, 15 dig performance against Central Community College the next day. Rupertova recorded at least one service ace in each of her five matches played.
Totals on the week, Rupertova recorded 52 kills during the week while chalking up 60 digs as she played the entire rotation. She added in 10 blocks, with a season high four in the 3-0 sweep of Fort Scott on Saturday.
