After starting conference play with two losses against two teams ranked in the top 10 nationally, the Butler women have now won two in a row in blowout fashion.
After winning on Saturday by 18 points at Barton, the Grizzlies returned home on Wednesday and easily handled Colby by a 74-35 score. Butler started somewhat slowly in the contest, leading 12-8 halfway through the half and only 28-15 at the end of the half.
The Grizzlies, however, rolled in the second half, putting up 46 points on their way to the 41-point win. It is the sixth win of 30 or more points this season for Butler, which has won six of their nine home games by 23 points or more.
Butler got balanced scoring in the winning effort. Samantha Satterlee led the team in scoring with 13 points off the bench. Jamillah Bonner had 12 points and Ashlee Ivy and Tysia Manual had 11 points apiece.
