Meet the Head Athletic Trainer
Brett Macklin
Brett Macklin enters his first year as Head Athletic Trainer at
Butler after spending the past three years as the head trainer at
Hastings College in Nebraska.
Macklin is familiar with the Jayhawk Conference, serving as the
head athletic trainer at Fort Scott during the 2006-07 school year.
The Smith Center native graduated from Cloud County Community
College in 2002, before going on to receive his Bachelor’s
and Master’s degrees’ from Fort Hays State
University.
Brett is a member of the NATA and has been certified as an Athletic
Trainer since January 2005
